Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado

Far View Visitor Center, WODC, Joseph & Louise Marlowe, Denver, 1964-68. Exterior form based on the American Indian kiva ruins located nearby. To be renovated and re-used under current General Management Plan.

Mount Rainier National Park, Washington
Whimberley, Whisenand, Allison & Tong, Honolulu, McGuire & Muri, Tacoma, Washington, 1964-67. To be demolished under current General Management Plan.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial, South Dakota
WODC, Cecil Doty, Harold Spitznagel & Associates, Sioux Falls, 1957-63. Featured in Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest. Demolished in 1994.

Petrified Forest National Park, Painted Desert Community, Arizona

Neutra and Alexander, Los Angeles, 1959-63.
Sitka National Historical Park, Alaska
WODC, Cecil Doty, John Morse & Associates, Seattle, 1963-64/1968
Wright Brothers National Memorial, North Carolina
Mitchell/Giurgola, 1957-1960. Concrete structure of the Philadelphia School, inspired by modern airports of the period. Determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Currently under consideration as a National Historic Landmark.
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Old Faithful Visitor Center, San Francisco Planning and Service Center, 1968-70. To be demolished under current General Management Plan.
Zion National Park, Utah
Oak Creek Visitor Center, WODC, Cecil Doty, Cannon and Mullen, Salt Lake City, 1957-61. Closed in 1999, now being renovated as a museum of human history at Zion National Park.
