It's fabulous Long Island, and USModernist dives deep into two vacation hotspots famous for their Modernist houses, the Hamptons and Fire Island! You'll fly direct from RDU. TICKETS AND DETAILS $2699 per person General Public, double occupancy Almost everything's included: roundtrip JetBlue direct flight RDU-JFK, all transportation, hotel, scheduled tours and admissions; dinner Sunday night, lunches on Sunday and Monday. Plus you get a year's membership in the Mod Squad, or an extra year if you're already a member. If you wish to fly from another city or arrange your own transportation, please register then send an email indicating that flying preference to george@usmodernist.org. You'll receive a $250 per person rebate within a week and are responsible for meeting us in the lobby of the TWA hotel at 1230pm on Saturday, August 13. You'll be returned to TWA by 4pm Monday, August 15. The Fine Print: Once payment is made, there are no refunds for any reason except if the tour is completely cancelled. Bring a mask; they will likely be required in the houses. The itinerary and order of events are subject to change without notice or refund. No checked luggage; one carry-on and one personal item only per person. Participants must complete a liability release and proof of vaccination before departing as is standard with all USModernist trips. There is NO SMOKING of any kind at the hotels or the houses, inside or within 25 feet outside. Parking at RDU airport is not included. Architects can get self-reported CEU hours if arranged in advance with the AIA. There is a small but possible risk of overnight stay if flights are cancelled or delayed, in which case participants are responsible for any additional costs of meals, lodging, transportation, and incidental expenses.
