LAKEWOOD RANCHO ESTATES, LONG BEACH CA
Lakewood Rancho Estates was the largest tract developed by architectural designer Cliff May. Designed with Chris Choate. The subdivision of 700 homes was built in 4 phases between 1953 and 1954 by developer Ross W. Cortese. The tract is bounded by the San Gabriel River to the east, Spring Street to the south, Studebaker Road to the west, and Wardlow Road to the north.
