Old House Journal was first published in 1973 in Brooklyn NY by Clem Labine
for fans of urban brownstones. Labine sold it in 1987 to partner Patricia
(Patty) Poore who eventually moved the office to Gloucester MA. She sold it
to Hanley Wood but stayed on as editor. Hanley Wood sold it to Restore
Media, with Poore staying on as editor. store Media sold it to AIM Media.
