Inc. originally published House & Home in 1952 as a monthly magazine
for building industry. It was sold to McGraw Hill in 1964 and was renamed Housing in 1978. In
1982, McGraw-Hill sold Housing to Hanley-Wood Inc. After the October 1982
issue, Housing merged with Builder.
In 1986, Lynda Reeves bought
the title House and
Home and started a new magazine in Canada, which continues today.
